860 Fifth Avenue Entrance Court

Complete renovation to entry court and exterior cladding of residential high rise. Design consists of sculptural fountain water feature, custom steel and glass canopy, complete waterproofing of existing roof deck, stone paving, planters, lighting and landscaping. The glass canopy roof gradually changes from opaque at the street to almost transparent at the lobby, allowing natural daylight into the entrance court and building lobby. Project required intensive public hearing at the Landmarks Preservation Commission. Architect met all project timelines on schedule. Contract award was within 5% of projected hard costs estimate. The architect and general contractor worked closely on all aspects of fabrication and site coordination to ensure accuracy and the highest of quality construction.
