Partial demolition and renovation of existing 17th century farm house. Additions include kitchen, family room, breakfast area and living room bay window. The owner was actively engaged with every step of the project. Construction coordination between the all vendors and contractors was a critical component to bring the project within budget and on time. One of the most challenging aspects of the project was incorporating the new addition into the language of the original 17th century house. Careful attention was necessary to protect the integrity of the original structure while creating a home with all necessary modern amenities.
